June 15, 2010 - "Exploration Trip to Chattanooga"
We are heading to Chattanooga for a week or so to do all sorts of things as we prepare to move there later this year. We will be looking at our church planting area – neighborhoods, potential meeting places, meeting with interested families about joining our prayer team/vision team, meeting up with another Kairos team family from Huntsville, AL – Terrance & Elizabeth Highsmith and their boys, meeting with local churches, taking lots of pictures, interviewing for jobs, etc. Please pray for our family as we try to balance working on our punch list and waiting on God.

 

July 1, 2010 - "Temporary Website Near Launch"
We are edging closer to having our temporary website up and running. We hope to have her up by the middle of July. Please check it out at www.riversongchurch.org. It will have updates on our work as well as information about being a part of our prayer team and/or a financial supporter. We cannot do this without lots of kingdom support. July 22, 2010 - "Lance and the Boys Heading to Chattanooga"
The transition to the Chattanooga area has officially begun this weekend as Lance and the boys head out on Sunday. They need to get on over because Jake starts football practice on Monday and Tucker starts school on August 4. The Perrys will be staying with family until they secure jobs and decide on the best housing solution for the next year. Everyone is excited about the step. Amy Jo will stay on at Duke in NC until the end of August. They plan to make a final "move" Labor Day weekend.
